We divide our shipment into loose container loads (LCL) and full
container load (FCL) . It is shipped in two ways as follows
Loose container Loads (L.C.L.)
The expenditure of L.C.L. merchandise is composed of Packing fee, Inland
Haulage, Exporting Documents fee and Shipping Fee. When the goods are sent as
L.C.L. there are generally multiple handling points, and the goods are
kept for warehousing during transit..
#1 Packing : We
have specific packing solutions to the various range of products manufactured
by us. Cost is as per requirement.
#2 Inland Haulage:It is generally US$ 35 Per C.B.M. of
Cargo.(Inclusive of Terminal Handling charges)
#3 Exporting Documents Fees:The Exporting Documents consists
of Certificates of Origin or G.S.P. General System of Preferences, Fumigation
Certificates, Bills of Lading, Invoice & Packing List, one can clear
customs when the goods arrives. Export Documentation Fees for shipment is US$
100 immaterial of size of consignment
#4 Shipping: USA US$ 65 to 85.00/cubic meter, Europe US$
55.00/cubic meter Base Ports & Major Inland Ports US$ 70 to 90.

Remarks
Shipping fees fluctuate with port, season and price of oil. All pieces
are wrapped and marked with ID number on the outside. We can also arrange the
shipment at the inland destination, trucks or trains will bring the merchandise
to you. Shipping is normally within one week after funds are received
Full Container LOADS (F.C.L)
The most common way to ship furniture abroad is by sea. There are
three different kind of containers according to their size:
1 - The 20 feet container: It has a capacity of
32 cubic meters and measures 5.89m(L)X2.35(W)X2.39(H).
2 - The 40 feet container: It has a capacity of 64 cubic
meters and measures 12.03m(L)X2.35(W)X2.39(H).
3 - The High Cube 40 feet container: It has a capacity of 70
cubic meters and measures 12.03m(L)X2.35(W)X2.69(H).
#1 Packing Fees: The packing is done in a way
that it remains safe during the transit in wooden boxes/Crates and
as per requirement.
#2 Inland Haulage: It is generally US$ 600 for one 20 Ft.
Container to Mumbai Port
#3 Exporting Documents Fees: The Exporting Documents consists
of Certificate of Origin, Fumigation Certificate, Bills of Lading, Invoice
& Packing .Cost is approx USD 100.00 per shipment.
The return e-mail from delivery@silver-furniture.com will be sent to you about
shipping cost after we get the destination area, such as address, port. If
Required the shipments can also be sent at the inland destination, trucks
or trains will bring the merchandise to you. Shipping is normally within two
weeks after funds or deposits are received.
Shipping Documents
Bill of Lading
The Bill of Lading is an important document without which the container
cannot be claimed. It contains important data such as container number;
seal number; bill of lading number etc.
It is mandatory and the cost is included in the Shipping expenses.
Packing List
Packing List contains the complete list of all the pieces loaded
inside the container, the total number of pieces and the total number of
cartons (or cases) plus the volume measures (in cubic meters). The totals must
coincide with the ones printed on the Bill of Lading and the Invoice. It is
mandatory and the cost is included in the Shipping expenses.
Invoice
The Invoice contains the prices of each single piece and the total
value of the container's goods. Import taxes, VAT, etc. are calculated
according to such figures. It is mandatory and the cost is included in the
Shipping expenses.
Fumigation
The Fumigation/Disinfection Certificate certify that the goods
contained inside the container have been fumigated/disinfected against insects,
fungi or any other kind of parasite that could be carried within the wooden
material. In some countries it is not mandatory; cost is calculated depending
on the quantity of goods to be disinfected and are not included in the Shipping
expenses.
Insurance
It is not mandatory. Cost depends on the kind of insurance requested
and is calculated according to the goods' total value as printed on the
Invoice.
Customs duties in the country of destination: In the event that the customs
authorities in the customer's country of residence, levy any charges on an
incoming parcel, these charges are to be borne by the customer, and are not
included in the price and shipping charges of the product as displayed on the
site.
Shipment by Courier:
We use services of TNT/DHL for international courier i.e. delivery
outside India . The packages by courier are delivered within 3-4 days of
shipment. If courier service is not available for a particular place/country,
the products are sent through Post service of the Indian Postal
Department. In case, if any of the above services are not available for a
place/country, the products are sent through ordinary post.

Shipment by Normal Post:
This is a low cost but unsecured mode of shipment. The "Normal Post"
is sent through Indian Postal Service and is usually delivered within 6-7 days
of shipment. Please note that the shipment under this mode is not insured and
without tracking facility. We would be able to provide you with only a proof of
dispatch by the Indian Postal Department for these shipments. In case of
non-delivery, we will refund the amount when the goods return to us from the
Postal Department.
The courier charges are calculated as follows:
For upto 120 gms of packet - US$ 2
For every additional 120 gms - US$ 2
